The Plan of Study

The MI ZAI Institute's course of study articulates through seven successive PHASES of learning, integrated with seminars in Anatomy and Physiopathology, Moxibustion and Techniques.


Each of the first four Phases consist of thirty hours of lecture, theory and pratice. Participants become eligible to continue to the next Phase dependent upon successful completion of the previous one.


From Phase I through Phase IV students increase their technical capacity and the inner awareness necessary to perform a correct treatment of energy re-balancing.    Phase IV is concluded with a theoretical and practical examination and the awarding of   Diploma of Personal Formation.


From Phases V through VII the student integrates and deepens the studies learned in the previous Phase.   Special attention is given to diverse aspects of the learning process:  inner evolution; awareness of the process of transformation of energy and recovery; perfecting techniques, movement and listening.  

Students must successfully complete a theorectical and practical exam in order to proceed to the next Phase.  

Upon successful completion of Phase VII and the other school requirements, the student will be awarded the   Diploma of Professional Training.
